Inertial Sensors

Acoustic Pointer has an inertial embedded GPS and INS sensor. All geo-referencing and orientation data used by the sensor is provided by this sensor. By calibrating the geo-referencing according to the platform x,y and z axis, the sensor can provide accurate coordinates of a detected event. If required by the customer, the Acoustic Pointer can be integrated with the platform’s own data-link for specific applications.
